Full Job Description

Prime Air is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to design and develop low and high voltage power electronics hardware and related electrical power systems for Prime Air Drones. You will work with internal and external vendors to support hardware development, manufacturing and test. You will also be responsible for building prototype hardware, leading test planning and execution, and documenting results throughout the development process. Basic Qualifications: - BS degree in electrical engineering or equivalent - 5+ years of hardware engineering experience - Experience designing inverter and converter circuits - Knowledge and experience with embedded control of power electronic circuits - Experience leading PCBA board Bring-Up and validation testing Preferred Qualifications: - Master's degree in electrical engineering or equivalent - Knowledge of scripting languages (bash, python, etc.) - Experience with harness design and drawings - Experience with lab equipment, hardware interfaces, embedded systems, or device communication protocols - DO-160 Test Experience (EMI and RF preferred) Amazon is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of protected veteran status, disability, or other legally protected status.
