We are looking for a **Power Electronics Engineer** **What will you do?** * Serve as technical expert within **Power Electronics Department** that is responsible to design, test, and maintain power electronics products and systems for Johnson Controls’ chiller applications. * Determine the best techniques, procedures and/or theories as they apply to the development of power electronics products and systems. * Create compliance procedures for the development of electrical/electronic circuitry designs. * Define and interpret design specifications; design electrical/electronic circuitry to meet specified requirements; and analyzes product design requirements and recommend solutions. * Prepare and coordinates the release of documentation to support component design and manufacturing. * Participate in all aspects of preliminary design and systems architecture, and conducts analysis of the cost impacts of proposed modifications, upgrades, and new implementations of application software. * Conduct feasibility studies and systems analysis for new applications or major modifications of existing systems. * Work with other engineers, designers, and technicians on specific work assignments. * Forecast and schedule work activities, and defines processes for repetitive tasks. * Act as the technical lead for troubleshooting field and factory issues on the range of power electronics products and systems on Johnson Controls’ chillers. * Travel to visit customers, Johnson Controls’ factories, vendors, and/or professional conferences as business needs. **How will you do it?** * Effectively utilize your knowledge, skills, and Johnson C
