What They're Looking For.
Must Have
Minimum 3 years of powder coating experience, Basic knowledge of powder coating and surface preparation, visual inspection skills, Understanding of material handling, Ability to follow verbal instructions and work in a team, Mechanical aptitude and comfort with coating equipment, High attention to detail and reliability
Nice to Have
SSPC or PCI Certification, Knowledge of PLC, HMI, or other automation programming, Experience in sheet metal manufacturing
What You'll Do.
Set up and operate powder coating equipment (manual and automated)
Apply coatings using electrostatic spray methods for consistent finishes
adjusting settings per specifications
Perform water sampling/testing for quality control during pre-treatment wash stage
Prepare and load sheet metal parts on conveyor systems ensuring proper grounding
Select and verify powder types based on specifications
Inspect finished products with visual checks and gauges for quality
Maintain accurate production
and maintenance records
Troubleshoot equipment and perform preventive maintenance
Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment

## Key Responsibilities Set up and operate powder coating equipment (manual and automated) Apply coatings using electrostatic spray methods for consistent finishes Operate curing ovens, adjusting settings per specifications Perform water sampling/testing for quality control during pre-treatment wash stage Prepare and load sheet metal parts on conveyor systems ensuring proper grounding Select and verify powder types based on specifications Inspect finished products with visual checks and gauges for quality Maintain accurate production, inspection, and maintenance records Troubleshoot equipment and perform preventive maintenance Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment ## Required Skills & Experience Minimum 3 years of powder coating experience Basic knowledge of powder coating and surface preparation Strong visual inspection skills Understanding of material handling Ability to follow verbal instructions and work in a team Mechanical aptitude and comfort with coating equipment High attention to detail and reliability ## Preferred SSPC or PCI Certification Knowledge of PLC, HMI, or other automation programming Experience in sheet metal manufacturing ## Physical Requirements Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
