About the Position The Powder Coat Painter is responsible for preparing, coating, and finishing metal parts using powder coating techniques. This role ensures high-quality finishes that meet company standards and customer specifications while maintaining a safe and efficient work environment. Night shift: 2:30pm-11:00pm Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Prepare metal surfaces for coating by cleaning, sanding, and masking as required. Operate powder coating equipment, including spray guns and curing ovens. Apply powder coatings evenly and consistently to achieve desired finish and thickness. Inspect coated parts for quality, ensuring adherence to specifications and correcting defects. Maintain and clean equipment to ensure optimal performance and longevity. Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work area. Track and report production data, including material usage and job completion times. Assist in troubleshooting coating issues and recommend process improvements. Qualification Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent. Previous experience in powder coating or industrial painting preferred. Knowledge of powder coating processes, materials, and equipment.
