Must Have

Ph.D. in synthetic organic chemistry, medicinal chemistry, or related field, Expertise and experience in standard techniques of synthetic organic chemistry, Effective team player with collaborative troubleshooting skills, Solid documentation skills and organizational ability, Excellent communication and presentation skills

Nice to Have

Experience working in multi-disciplinary teams is an asset, Basic knowledge of key concepts in biochemistry and pharmacology an asset

What You'll Do.

Design and synthesize new chemical entity small molecules

Conduct multi-step syntheses of small molecules

Conduct structure- and ligand-based design

Conduct basic molecular modelling

Work collaboratively with expert researchers

Conduct due diligence on potential therapeutic targets

Team & Collaboration

Work collaboratively with expert researchers across a multitude of disease biology areas and other scientific disciplines

Communication Scope

Excellent communication and presentation skills
