POSITION OVERVIEW Position: Portfolio Director Job Type: Full-time Location: Hybrid, DMV Area Clearance Requirements: Active TS/SCI required Experience: 12+ years WHAT YOU'LL DO SIXGEN is looking for a Portfolio Director to lead a portfolio of Federal Civilian programs that support critical government missions. This person will be responsible for the overall success of the portfolio, ensuring programs are delivered effectively, customers are well supported, teams have what they need to succeed, and the business continues to grow. You'll lead a team of Program Managers who oversee day-to-day contract execution while serving as the primary executive point of contact for government customers and internal leadership. Success in this role means balancing customer satisfaction, operational excellence, financial performance, and team development while helping position SIXGEN for long-term growth. We're looking for a strategic leader who enjoys building strong customer relationships, developing high-performing teams, solving complex challenges, and driving results in a fast-moving federal contracting environment. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Leading a Portfolio of Mission Critical Programs. You'll provide leadership and direction across a portfolio of Federal Civilian contracts, ensuring programs are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. You'll guide Program Managers, help remove obstacles, manage risks, and ensure teams have the support they need to succeed. Build Strong Customer Relationships.
