As a member of the Environmental Services team, the Porter will safely and efficiently transport patients, equipment and miscellaneous items within the confines of the facilities buildings by various methods including by wheelchair, stretcher, or bed as directed. This is what you’ll be doing: * Follow all established procedures in accordance with the patient flow system * Properly utilize hand-held technology * Transport patients, charts, specimen, pharmaceuticals and the required equipment to various treatment and diagnostic areas throughout the hospital in a safe and efficient manner * Transport of soiled linen, waste and recycling as needed * Collect and clean equipment as necessary * Assist with facility transport activities as assigned * Other duties as assigned ## Qualifications Halton Healthcare endeavors to hire individuals who are competent in their chosen profession and who exemplify our mission, vision and values of accountability, respect and compassion which guide our individual behaviours and attitudes. * Grade 12 diploma required * Recent
