Full Job Description

**FULL TIME** **Scope of the Work** Reports to Sleep Manager under supervision by Polysomnographic Technologist. A Student Polysomnographic Technologist works under the general supervision of the Medical Director and designee (department director/manager/supervisor/technologist) to provide comprehensive evaluation and treatment of sleep disorders. This may involve polysomnography, diagnostic and therapeutic services or patient care and education. **AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY:** Corewell Health East Sleep Centers **Qualifications** * High School Diploma or equivalent * Currently, enrolled in or have completed the A-STEP or STAR designated online Self Study Modules in preparation for certification exam OR, completed ASTEP didactic education program OR, in a formal polysomnography program and/or enrolled in a program accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP) or a Commission on Accreditation for Respiratory Care (CoARC) program with the polysomnography option. * Basic Life Support (BLS) required * Board of Registered Polysomnographic Technologists required within 1 year or National Board of Respiratory Care. ## How Corewell Health cares for you * Comprehensive benefits package to meet your financial, health, and work/life balance goals.
