Must Have
Minimum four (4) years laboratory or POCT experience with progressive responsibility, Minimum one (1) years experience with Lab Systems and IT Systems, Master’s or doctoral degree in a chemical, biological, clinical, or medical laboratory science, or medical technology, plus at least 1 year of lab training/experience, Bachelor’s degree in a chemical, biological, clinical, or medical laboratory science, or medical technology, plus at least 2 years of lab training/experience, Associate degree in medical laboratory technology, medical laboratory science, or clinical laboratory science, plus at least 4 years of lab training/experience
Nice to Have
Certification as a MT (ASCP or equivalent) or MLT(ASCP or equivalent)
What You'll Do.
meeting laboratory analytical requirements
information technology support
quality assurance measures focusing on accreditation needs
and other requirements for the organization
provides operational support to ATS department
continuous development of the point of care testing program for the organization
works closely with the system manager for technical and analytical expertise to ensure quality and regulatory compliance
performance of technical consultant duties outlined by Clinical Laboratory Improvement Amendments (CLIA)
