What You'll Do.
Prescribe medications and treatments
Report medical condition information
Assess individuals for mental health disorders
Make appropriate DSM diagnosis
Ensure medically appropriate services
Ensure compliance with NC Medical Board
Review past treatments and evaluations
Develop appropriate diagnosis and treatment plan
Request diagnostic lab work
Maintain all documentation and records
Complete documentation within 24 hours
Provide education to individuals
Involve family members in treatment
Educate family members in treatment
Encourage participation in mental health therapy
Collaborate with other providers
Coordinate with other providers
Consult with other providers
Discuss treatment plans

Ensure that services are delivered in a medically appropriate manner and care provided is in compliance with NC Medical Board guidelines
