Eligibility Requirements

Ability to work in field environments including noise, dust, extreme temperatures, confined spaces, and other industrial conditions. Up to 50% travel may be required. Must be able to work flexible hours as project demands require. Valid driver’s license required. Authorized to work in the United States without requiring sponsorship. Employees may be required to work outside their normal work hours and perform tasks outside of their normal responsibilities in support of emergency operations.

What They're Looking For.

Must Have

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related technical field. 2+ years of relevant experience in engineering, construction, or project environments OR 5+ years of related technical/project experience without a degree. Foundational knowledge of project management principles (scope, cost, schedule, risk). organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Nice to Have

Experience in utility, transmission & distribution, or large industrial capital projects. Familiarity with project management methodologies and best practices (PMI or similar). Experience with PMIS systems, scheduling tools, and cost/risk management software. PMP or similar certification (for PM level).

What You'll Do.

Lead or support full project lifecycle execution: initiation, planning, execution, monitoring & control, and closeout.

Ensure alignment of project scope, cost, schedule, and quality objectives.

Implement and maintain project scope and configuration management practices.

Transition completed projects safely and effectively to operations/customers.

Develop and manage project budgets, forecasts, and cost controls.

Build and maintain detailed project schedules to meet key milestones.

Track performance using metrics and proactively address variances.

Identify, assess, and manage project risks and opportunities using established tools.

Ensure adherence to quality standards and drive continuous improvement.

Manage procurement activities, including vendor selection, contracting, and performance oversight.

Coordinate cross-functional teams, contractors, and external partners.

Build relationships with stakeholders and effectively manage expectations.

Address conflicts and navigate complex stakeholder environments.

Foster a culture of safety, accountability, and high performance.

Ensure compliance with company standards, policies, and project governance requirements.

Communicate project status, risks, and decisions clearly and effectively to stakeholders.

Support safety and environmental objectives across all project activities.
