Must Have

Minimum of five (5) years of plumbing experience required, Alaska certificate of fitness required, Personnel inspecting, testing, certifying, and making recommendations for corrective action for backflow preventers shall be certified per UG-2029-ENV and have a Backflow Assembly Tester (BAT) certificate for the State of Alaska, Personnel performing maintenance on backflow preventers shall have a journeymen plumber's license, A valid state driver’s license is required, Must be able to obtain and maintain applicable security clearances and installation access

Nice to Have

Municipality of Anchorage plumber license preferred, State of Anchorage plumber license preferred (Journeyman level license preferred)

What You'll Do.

certify and repair backflow assemblies

and modify all plumbing equipment and components

Remove blockage from drain lines

repair or replace leaky joints

faucets and other outlets

Install and repair domestic

industrial and commercial hot water heaters

hot water storage tanks and plumbing fixtures

Install or replace and connect water

sewage and water/storm fixtures

Perform scheduled maintenance on plumbing systems and fixtures

Conduct winterization and de-winterization of facilities

Apply all code requirements during installations

Ensure all requirements are met as specified by the manufacturer

Ensure all installations

and maintenance are properly sized

Ensure all installations

and maintenance meet environmental protection requirements

Utilize mobile maintenance and inspection devices to maintain a record of all service and repair activities

Operate company-provided vehicles
