Must Have
10 years’ experience and familiarity with Windchill PLM, Experience with engineering change management, Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required, Experience with 3D Modeling software (Creo, Solidworks, Inventor) is required
Nice to Have
Creo is preferred, Proficiency with ERP systems (SAP) is strongly preferred, Microsoft Office applications is preferred
What You'll Do.
Managing our Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) system
Supporting all PLM users within the Applied business unit
Conducting ongoing training
Facilitating PLM tasks across functional departments
Aligning multiple sites within Applied business and other business units around processes within the PLM system
Assisting with transition to PLM
Acting as change agent
Assisting global teams with data preparation prior to migration
Developing training plan
Working with Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) to determine PLM requirements
Monitoring industry development and proposing changes to PLM platform

**PLM Expert** **EU R &D CoE Dublin** **What you will do** This position is responsible for managing our Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) system, the process of managing the entire life span of a product from idea generation, through design and development, to production, to service in the field, and ultimately disposal—integrates people, processes, and technologies across the enterprise. This position supports all PLM users within the Applied business unit, conducts ongoing training, and helps facilitate PLM tasks across functional departments. In addition to the responsibilities as the PLM power user, this person will be part of a global team to align multiple sites within Applied business and other business units around processes within the PLM system. As we continue our PLM transformation journey, the candidate will play a key role in continuously helping to achieve a higher level of PLM maturity by keeping current with new releases and functionalities of the software. This position requires both a tactical approach to the PLM system and process applications, as well as strategic insight to integrate people and processes to evolve and enhance the user experience and its role in the product lifecycle. This person will collaborate across all teams to ensure a seamless exchange and management of product data and the overall user experience. **How you will do it** **Assist with transition to PLM** * Act as change agent for the Applied business unit. * Assist global teams with the preparation of data prior to migration to Windchill PLM, by assessing the current landscape of our current PDM system and develop migration strategy. * Technical lead within Applied org. for all PLM related activities * Represent the Applied org. in enterprise-wide best business practices. **Training** * Develop training plan for initial launch of PLM for all users within JCI Applied business unit and provide continuous training for new functionalities. **Future Planning** * Work with eac
