What They're Looking For.

Must Have

Minimum 3 years producing daily newscast, Minimum 3 years writing, producing, desktop editing, Bachelor’s Degree Journalism, Communications or equivalent work experience

Nice to Have

Journalistic skills, Newsgathering experience, Production experience, Writing skills, Video editing skills, Leadership ability, Producer in major market television, Producer in web-based news service, Mid-sized market EP experience, Ability to perform under pressure, Ability to meet deadlines, Spanish language skills a plus

Manage editorial content on platforms

Serve as Line Producer

Select compelling stories

Ensure smooth productions

Ensure complete local news coverage

Incorporate social/digital/streaming content

Produce content for multiple platforms

Participate in editorial process

Manage Content Producers

Coach Content Producers

Mentor Content Producers

Ensure fairness in reporting

Ensure accuracy in reporting

Ensure balance in reporting

Uphold NBC4 standards
