Platform Engineering Manager - (Enterprise Systems) Workday DevOps Senior Engineering Manager Platform Engineering Manager Location: Dublin (hybrid) Permanent **Role purpose:** Enterprise IT is seeking a proactive and experienced Platform Engineering Manager to lead a team of highly skilled engineers responsible for the operational support and delivery of change for our core enterprise platforms: Jira, Confluence, and Slack, including integrations between these systems. As the trusted service provider for all Flutter brands and divisions globally, this role owns critical enterprise applications that enable cross-brand collaboration and support onboarding of new acquisitions. You will ensure platform integrity, data security, and compliance across multiple jurisdictions worldwide, maintaining the trust placed in Enterprise IT to safeguard collaboration and data across our diverse, multi-location organisation. The primary focus of this role is to ensure the stability, performance, and availability of the platform environment, manage upgrades and improvements, and collaborate with the Product Owner and delivery teams to implement new features and services that enable Flutter Entertainment's global workforce. This role will work in close partnership with the Product Owner, who owns the product vision, backlog prioritisation, and stakeholder engagement. The Platform Engineering Manager will be accountable for translating product priorities into technical execution, leading the engineering team to deliver operational excellence, and driving continuous improvement of platform capabilities. The ideal candidate will have proven experience managing engineering teams in enterprise IT environments, with deep technical expertise in SaaS collaboration platforms, service management frameworks, and agile delivery methodologies.
