The role is responsible for ensuring the availability, performance, security, scalability, and operational stability of Sybase database platforms supporting business-critical banking workloads. Secondary expertise in Microsoft SQL Server is required to support ancillary applications and integrated banking systems. The ideal candidate will have extensive hands-on experience managing enterprise-scale Sybase environments within highly regulated financial institutions. The role involves database administration, performance tuning, capacity planning, automation, backup and recovery, production support, and collaboration with application and infrastructure teams to ensure optimal database operations.
