This role ensures that store platforms, point-of-sale environments, and supporting infrastructure are secure, consistent, and scalable. The position works closely with engineering, deployment, and support teams to automate platform builds, improve system reliability, and streamline software deployment. The role combines hands-on systems engineering with automation, troubleshooting, and collaboration across development and operational teams. **Key Responsibilities** **Platform Engineering & Environment Management** * Design, build, and maintain platform environments that support the company’s retail and point-of-sale systems. Develop and maintain standardized operating system builds and platform configurations that ensure consistent and secure deployment across store environments. * Define hardware specifications and platform configurations for point-of-sale environments and continuously optimize builds to improve performance, reliability, and maintainability. **Automation & Deployment** * Develop and maintain automation for system builds, testing, configuration management, and version control.
