Platform Engineer - Database is responsible for the installation, configuration, maintenance, security, performance tuning, backup, recovery, and high availability management of Microsoft SQL Server databases supporting enterprise applications and business operations. Key Responsibilities * Install, configure, patch, upgrade, and maintain MS SQL Server, and Exadata database platforms. * Manage database storage structures including tablespaces, partitions, indexes, ASM, and file systems with optimization best practices. * Monitor database performance and perform proactive tuning to ensure high efficiency, availability, and reliability. * Implement and manage backup, restore, replication, and disaster recovery solutions (RMAN, Data Guard, Always On). * Ensure high availability using clustering, failover, RAC, Data Guard, and replication technologies. * Execute database patching activities including pre/post checks, rollback validation, and coordination with vendors (e.g., Exadata patching). * Manage database security including user access, encryption, auditing, and compliance adherence. * Troubleshoot database incidents, outages, and performance issues in a 24x7 pr
