What They're Looking For.
Must Have
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience, 3+ years of experience in a platform engineering or similar role, Proficiency in Golang or Python for scripting and automation, Proven experience with Terraform for infrastructure as code, Proven knowledge of Kubernetes for container orchestration, Hands-on experience with GitHub for version control and collaboration, Proven experience with AWS cloud services, Excellent problem-solving skills, Ability to work under pressure, Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, Proven ability to work collaboratively in a team environment, Organizational skills, Attention to detail, Good networking knowledge
Nice to Have
Experience with Github runners and other CI/CD tools and platforms, Familiarity with programming languages such as Go, Python or Java in the context of CICD, Knowledge of security best practices in cloud environments, Experience with observability tools such as Prometheus, ELK and Grafana stacks, Certification in AWS or Kubernetes, Experience with Backstage, Experience with kOps, Knowledge of Cilium CNI
What You'll Do.
and maintain CI/CD pipelines
Develop and manage infrastructure as code using Terraform
and monitor containerized applications using Kubernetes
Support the development and management of production Kubernetes clusters in a cloud environment (AWS preferred)
Manage and optimize cloud infrastructure in AWS
Administer and optimize source code repositories and workflows in GitHub
Collaborate with development teams to enhance developer toolsets and streamline SDLC processes
Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure and application issues
Implement best practices for security
