What They're Looking For.
Must Have
Graduated or higher in Computer Science or a related technical discipline, or have equivalent practical experience, Ability to develop using programming languages such as Python or Golang, Familiar with the principles of the software development lifecycle, Familiar with the concepts of infrastructure-as-code, Familiar with CI/CD pipelines, Comfortable working with related tools/technologies (e. g. Jenkins, Git, ArgoCD), Hands-on experience with containerized environments, Hands-on experience with container orchestration technologies like Docker and Kubernetes, A security-first mindset, Good written and verbal English communication skills

THE ROLE We are seeking a Mid-Level Platform Engineer to help us continue driving innovation and making an impact on the reliability, performance, and scalability of Farfetch's industry-leading technology. You must have a DevOps mindset and be passionate about automation, scalability, and infrastructure reliability. In this role, you will be co-responsible for the maintenance of several technologies that are crucial to the success of FARFETCH’s business. ## WHAT YOU'LL DO Design, develop, implement, and manage cloud-native infrastructure and tooling that empowers our development teams. Contribute to building self-service capabilities, abstracting complex infrastructure layers, and promoting engineering autonomy. Operate and maintain a wide range of infrastructure components, including Linux and Kubernetes-based systems, using automated processes and pipelines.
