12-hour shift work, adapt to 12-hour workdays, meet call-in requirements, Wearing Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), Working at extreme heights, working in confined spaces, working in extreme temperatures, areas can be dusty, use of forklift, use of power washer, use of pallet jack, use of hoist systems, use of scissor lifts, use of JLG lifts, use of telehandlers, use of Front End Loaders, use of various hand tools, use of computers, Sit in a chair while operating the plant, Walk indoors and outdoors, Carry to up to 15lbs, Climb stairs and/or ladders, Stand indoors to clean and maintain areas, Reach at arm’s length, Be in awkward back, shoulder, wrists, and hand positions, Use coordination and grip, Bend while standing, Use repetitive arm motions, Climb in and out of Powered Industrial Vehicles, Lift up to 50lbs, Carry up to 40 lbs, Push with a force of 10lbs, Pull with a force of up to 85lbs, Bend, twist, turn, kneel, and crouch, subject to a physical, expected to pass a drug screen, subject to random drug and alcohol testing
What They're Looking For.
Must Have
High school diploma or equivalent required, Working knowledge in math, reading comprehension and mechanical reasoning required, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills are required
Nice to Have
Experience with software systems, such as Maximo, preferred, Experience in a production environment preferred
What You'll Do.
Operate all plant processing equipment
Perform routine basic maintenance
Perform maintenance and basic repairs
Safely perform basic electrical troubleshooting
Follow procedures for plant start-up
Maintain accurate and timely logs
Collect and test quality control samples
Assist in maintenance on all equipment
Notify management of concerns
Foster a culture of safe behavior
Maintain food safety and quality
