Investing years into R&D to create the safest containment system in the world and taking on the industry status quo to petition for higher standards in sharps protection, we witnessed an 80+ percent reduction in disposal-related needlestick injuries nationwide. And then we kept going... We are looking to hire a Plant Operator for our Daniels’ medical waste treatment facility in Moncton, NB. A Plant Operator has a widely varying role, from checking in containers, double checking paperwork, moving/unloading specific waste containers, and operating a forklift to load an autoclave. The ideal Plant Operator is an individual who likes variety in their work and can think through practical problems.  ## What will your job involve? Receiving and processing of the various waste streams. Scans waste into Route Optics for proper record keeping purposes. Maintains the boiler and the autoclave functions to ensure maximum operating efficiency. Ensures that all waste is properly processed and/or stored in compliance with all regulatory requirements. Ensures an adequate supply of clean reusable bins and totes are readily available for logistics purposes. Washes and ensures quality control of all reusable bins and totes. Ensures housekeeping issues, e.g., spills cleaned up, floor is dry, and debris not on floor, etc., are addressed immediately. Performs additional duties and assists in other areas of the plant operation as directed by Operations Supervisor ## What are we looking for?
