Must Have
High School Diploma or GED, Minimum of 2 years of supervisory or management experience or participation in Republic Services’ management trainee program

What You'll Do.
Manage the recycling and other post-collections activities
Manage a team of operations supervisors
Execute a local strategy for the marketing of commodities
Implement tactical initiatives to drive functional excellence
Oversee all matters related to recycling operations
Oversee effective safety and accident prevention programs
Ensure compliance with standards
Monitor and maintain recycling contracts and permit compliance
Oversee change management initiatives to introduce new processes
Provide leadership for recycling and post-collections operations
Implement and execute plans to complement business unit strategy
Drive functional plans within the operations group
Achieve or exceed the Business Unit’s budget
Coordinate the production of commodities with inbound volume
Adjust resources to market and seasonal conditions
Develop sales strategies to market commodities
Monitor local regulations and market conditions
Develop new recycling opportunities
Implement and maintain an effective loss control and safety program
Approve expenses and manage budget for the operations department
Develop a best-in-class team and workplace culture
Effectively manage performance and talent
Drive best-practice sharing
Build and maintain effective relations with government groups
Build and maintain effective relations with community groups
Build and maintain effective relations with environmental groups
