Full Job Description
The Plant Manager is responsible for leading all manufacturing activities in a plastics industry plant, ensuring achievement of production, quality, safety, and efficiency targets. The role includes managing a team of managers and employees, driving operational excellence initiatives, continuous process improvement, and embedding a strong culture of safety and quality. * Manage and lead all production operations in the plant, including planning, monitoring, and executing production plans. * Lead a team of managers and employees, including development and coaching of management teams. * Ensure achievement of output, quality, safety, and scheduling targets. * Drive continuous improvement processes, implement operational excellence methodologies (such as Lean, 5S, Kaizen). * Responsible for implementing and maintaining safety and quality standards, including training, supervision, and enforcement of procedures. * Work closely with internal interfaces (engineering, quality, logistics, HR). * Manage budgets, monitor costs, and improve plant profitability. * Lead projects for technological innovation and automation * **Position Requirements:** * Relevant academic degree (Industrial/Mechanical Engineering & Management) * Proven experience managing a plant or production operation in the plastics industry or similar * Experience leading large management teams (including middle managers) required. * Experience implementing operational excellence and continuous improvement processes. * In-depth familiarity with industry safety and quality standards. * Strong leadership and employee motivation skills, assertiveness, systemic vision, and ability to work under pressure. **_We Don’t Just Build The World, We Build Innovative Technology Too._** Joining the Stanley Black & Decker team means working in an innovative, tech-driven and highly collaborative team environment supported by over 43,500 professionals in 60 countries across the globe.
