What They're Looking For.
Must Have
5+ years of experience in production planning, logistics, or supply chain roles, at least 2 years in a leadership or supervisory role, working knowledge of MRP-driven planning, inventory control, and shop floor material flow, Solid understanding of defense industry compliance requirements affecting planning and logistics functions, organizational, analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills, Proficient in Excel for data analysis, planning reports, and KPI tracking, Must be a U. S. Citizen
Nice to Have
Experience with ERP/MRP systems (e.g., XA, SAP, Oracle, or equivalent), Familiarity with electronics manufacturing environments and material requirements (e.g., cable assemblies, components, kits, test units), Experience managing stockroom operations, cycle counts, and inventory accuracy initiatives, Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, schedule-driven manufacturing environment, Interest in improving planning rigor, logistics execution, and material flow through creative yet compliant approaches

and proper handling of controlled and sensitive materials
Ensure all planning and logistics activities comply with applicable defense industry regulations and standards
Directly manage planners and stockroom personnel
setting clear priorities
monitoring performance
and driving accountability
Identify performance gaps and implement coaching
and process improvements
Champion continuous improvement in planning and logistics processes
and report planning and logistics KPIs such as on-time delivery
shortages and inventory turns
providing regular updates to site leadership
