ABOUT YOUR ROLE This position reports to the Plant Manager, Kulim and will be responsible for planning material and production requirements to support the plant's short-, mid-, and long-term needs. This is a strategic position with the expectation that the candidate will eventually take over overall Material Planning and Production Planning. YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE Material Planning: * The person will be working very closely with the Demand and Production Planning to ensure direct materials and consumables short, mid and long term demand are properly understood, aligned, planned and purchased. * The person will be responsible and accountable to ensure that the material inventory levels are kept within our forecast and work with Procurement, Global Procurement and Suppliers to continuously drive improvements in terms of lead time, pricing, sourcing for business continuity, quality and delivery.
