Full Job Description
**Tarkett** has a great opportunity for a **Planner & Estimator (Hospitality)** The Planner & Estimator will be fully responsible for preparing and/or coordinating the preparation of full quantity estimates as required by customer documents. In addition, this role will support the functional managers with tools and processes of project planning and analyzing project execution. (Will be based in our Dalton GA location), and will report to (Planning & Estimating Manager, Hospitality). **Your skills we value:** * Reviewing and evaluating requests for estimates * Using AutoCAD and LPX estimating software to prepare quantity analysis for materials. * Contacting architects and designers to resolve issues with drawings or specifications. * Working with manufacturer representatives to determine special product needs or requirements. * Working independently and with fellow associates to determine necessary materials and quantities needed for an opportunity. * Reviewing construction documents and understanding of scope of work to bid – including specifications. * Ensuring estimates are complete and accurate. * Problem solving issues and questions related to drawing and specifications. * Other duties as assigned. **Experience & Education Desired:** * Strong computer skills to include Microsoft Office programs. * Experience with AutoCAD and/or LPX software preferred. * High school diploma or GED, college degree preferred. * Demonstrated ability to meet internal and external client commitments and timelines. * Excellent problem-solving skills. * Must be able to work under tight deadlines. * Demonstrated ability to manage time, resources, and workload. * Extremely accurate and must be able to monitor own work to ensure accuracy. * Must be able to multi-task and manage competing demands and is able to manage multiple jobs/tasks simultaneously, with frequent changes, delays, and unexpected events. * Excellent communication skills * Must be able to pass background check and drug scr
