What You'll Do.
Install and repair waterline
Install and repair sanitary sewer
Install and repair storm sewer
Align and position pipes for joining
Connect pipe pieces and seal joints
Install and use instruments
Check slopes for conformance
Assist with covering pipes with earth
Cut pipes to required lengths
Dig trenches to desired depths
Grade and level trench bases
Work in confined and enclosed spaces
Train others in pipe-laying
Provide supervision for pipe-laying
Ensure health and safety culture
Meet company policies and requirements
Establish positive working relationship with customers

We hire ambitious and dedicated professionals to fill positions at all levels of our organization.****_ **Qualifications:** * Minimum of 1 year experience on a utility crew * Working knowledge of shoring and excavation * Ability to read cut/grade sheets * Work in outdoor environments in all seasons * Be comfortable working alongside heavy equipment and able to communicate with operators, workers and pedestrians * Must pass pre-employment physical/drug screening **Responsibilities:** * Installation and repair of waterline, sanitary sewer and storm sewer * Ability to align and position pipes to prepare them for joining. * Ability to connect pipe pieces and seal joints * Install and use instruments such as lasers, grade rods, and transit levels * Ability to check slopes for conformance to requirements, using levels or lasers * Assist with the covering of pipes with earth or other materials. * Cut pipes to required lengths * Dig trenches to desired or required depths, by hand or using trenching tools * Grade and level trench bases, using tamping machines and hand tools * Work in confined and enclosed spaces * Willing to train others in pipe-laying and provide supervision. * Ensure the company’s health and safety culture, policies and requirements are met * Establish and maintain a positive working relationship with customers and co-workers **Job Type:** Full-Time, Year-Round **Location:** Various Jobsites **Working Hours:** Typical start time varies between 6:00 AM and 7:00 AM.
