Full Job Description

Responsibilities: * Assist pipefitters with the layout, assembly, and installation of piping systems according to specifications and blueprints. * Transport and organize materials, tools, and equipment to and from the job site, ensuring they are readily available for use. * Prepare work areas by cleaning and organizing spaces, removing debris, and ensuring a safe working environment. * Perform basic pipefitting tasks under the supervision of experienced pipefitters, including cutting, threading, and assembling pipes. * Follow all safety protocols and procedures, wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) and participating in safety meetings. * Clean, maintain, and store tools and equipment properly to ensure they are in good working condition. * Assist in maintaining accurate records of work performed, materials used, and any issues encountered during the project. Education Requirements/Qualifications: * Previous experience in construction or a related field is preferred but not required. Willingness to learn and gain experience in pipefitting is essential. * High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Job Requirements/Special Skills: * Basic understanding of construction practices and safety procedures. * Ability to follow instructions and work well in a team environment. * Knowledge of various pipefitting techniques and tools. * Good communication skills and a positive attitude. * Strong physical stamina and the ability to perform manual labor, including lifting heavy objects * Ability to work in conditions of varying heat and cold where noise levels are at or above 90 decibels
