Full Job Description
Environmental Air Systems, a full-service mechanical contractor, is seeking a **Pipe Superintendent** for our manufacturing shop. In this role you will lead a team of pipe welders, pipe fitters, and pipe helpers in the prefabrication of industrial HVAC hydronic piping systems. **Total Rewards:** * Life Insurance * Tuition Reimbursement * Paid Holidays * PTO * Weekly Pay * Medical, Dental, Vision, Hospital, Accident, Specified Disease, and Pet Insurance * 401(k) with Company Match * Onsite Health Clinic * Apprenticeship Program **Schedule:** 6:00am-4:30pm with OT as necessary **Responsibilities:** * Oversee the installation of industrial hydronic piping systems including chilled water, hot water, steam, condensate, and condensed water * Prioritize safety and ensure the team completes audits and all EAS safety requirements * Manage project schedules * Maintain tool inspection reports * Review submittals, installation, and operation manuals * Interview and hire new employees to join the pipe department **Qualifications:** * Minimum of 5 years of experience in supervision * Familiarity with flowline manufacturing * Knowledge of pipe fabrication methods * Excellent time management skills and problem solving abilities * Ability to work both independently and as a team * Ability to read blueprints and schematics * Strong Interpersonal skills for coordinating teams * Fluency in email, spreadsheets, word processing, and presentation software **Education Requirements:** * Minimum of a high school education or equivalent * Trade School completion preferred **Job Requirements/Special Skills:** * Ability to work in conditions of varying heat and cold and where noise levels are at or above 90 decibels * Ability to lift 50 lbs * Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, push, and pull throughout the shift
