We’re looking to add an Excavator Operator to our team, please read below for the details of the position. Applicants should have experience with excavation, trenching, pipe setting and loading trucks. Responsibilities: Safely and skillfully operate various equipment including backhoes, loaders and skid steers with emphasis on excavators. Maintain equipment in proper operating condition by performing simple preventative maintenance and repair tasks. Perform tasks in a safe and accident-free manner. Requirements: Three years of experience required Valid Driver’s License with clean driving history. CDL Class A driver’s license preferred. Experience operating various equipment including backhoes, excavators, loaders and skid steer. Applicant must be able to pass drug test and background check. The position location is in Chesapeake, Virginia Individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily Able to work well in a team environment Can take and apply direction from supervisor Workers must provide their own safety footwear Workers must have reliable transportation, or be able to access jobsites in any location Saturdays are required periodically as needed WORK ENVIRONMENT Regularly exposed to outside weather conditions.
