Full Job Description
Since its origin in 1954, Topflight Elite Training & Charter Services, formerly known as the Canadian Helicopters School of Advanced Flight Training, has established a world-renowned reputation for the caliber of its training programs. Located in British Columbia, Topflight offers mountain and advanced flight training. As part of Topflight; you’ll contribute to an important School of Advanced Flight Training while enjoying permanent, meaningful, and stable work with room to grow. We are currently looking for a pilot instructor to perform advanced mountain training, aircraft type and emergency training, vertical reference / water bucket training, basic and advanced NVG training and night rating. Here are the detailed responsibilities of the role: * Provide high-quality flight instruction to military and civilian students, ensuring safety, proficiency, and adherence to Transport Canada/FAA regulations. * Conduct both ground and in-flight training sessions for students at various experience levels. * Create and execute customized lesson plans tailored to individual student needs and progress. * Monitor and assess student performance, providing constructive feedback and guidance for improvement. * Ensure proper maintenance of aircraft by conducting pre- and post-flight inspections and reporting any issues. * Maintain accurate and thorough student records, including flight logs and performance evaluations. * Stay updated on industry best practices, aviation standards, and changes in regulations. * Foster a professional and encouraging learning environment that promotes safety and confidence. * Conduct check rides, practical exams, and assist students in preparing for certification or course completion. * Coordinate with flight school staff to schedule lessons, aircraft, and other resources efficiently. ## Qualifications We are looking for a candidate with the following experience and skills : * 3000+ hrs with an extensive operational background * 1000 hrs minimum mountai
