Must Have
Master’s Degree in Science (Physiotherapy) or recognized equivalent based on Registration with the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario, Active registration with the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario, Excellent interpersonal skills, Excellent verbal and written communication skills, Excellent organizational and time management skills, Excellent problem solving skills, Must be able to perform the physical demands of the job
Nice to Have
Minimum two (2) years related experience in neuro rehab preferred, Experience in spinal cord rehab preferred, Membership in the Canadian Physiotherapy Association preferred, NDTobath certification preferred, Experience with wheelchair provision preferred, ADP Authorizer preferred, Experience with electronic charting (e. g. EPIC) beneficial
What You'll Do.
provision of patient and non-patient care activities
planning and implementing individually designed programs of physical treatment
dissemination of knowledge to patients
Designing and adapting patient treatment plans
Contribution to service planning and timely comprehensive completion of clinical documentation and workload statistics
Engaging in training and oversight of students and volunteers
cooperative efforts with peers
facilitation of student education
Participation in Inter-professional Rounds and committees
Involvement in clinical evaluations
Contributing to the advancement of professional practice and services
provide coverage in various areas of the organization as needed
