We are looking for a Physics teacher for an International school based in Chongqing. This position is available from the upcoming 2026-27 academic year starting in August 2026. About the school An international school situated in the Liangjiang New Area of Chongqing offers world-class education to its K-12 (Kindergarten, Primary, Middle and High School divisions) students in a bilingual setting. It is housed on an expansive area of 135,000 sqm, with the capacity to host 2,400 pupils, 540 of which are boarders. Job details * Responsible for teaching physics courses to primary and secondary school students * Prepare lessons, lectures, tutoring techniques, designing and correcting assessments, and writing report comments * Co-teach with teachers and be prepared to develop and improve school-based curriculum * Asses and monitor students’ progress and provide targets so that all learners can succeed and improve * Hold or participate in parents’ meetings * Partake proactively in the annual cycle of subject monitoring, review and improvement planning * Be proactive in maintaining and developing IT capability in line with the Digital Learning Strategy **Requirements** * Bachelor Degree or above * More than 2 years related working experience * Hold UK PGCE, or other relevant teaching qualification * Passionate and Energetic in teaching * Working knowledge of the National Curriculum of England including EYFS, KS1, KS2, KS3, IGCSE/GCSE and A Levels * Evidence of relevant and challenging continuing professional development **Benefits** * Monthly salary of 27,000 to 32,000 RMB commensurate with experience and qualifications * Free apartment * Summer and Winter holidays * Public holidays * Health insurance
