What They're Looking For.
Must Have
MD or DO degree, Current, unrestricted license to practice medicine, Active board certification in Family Medicine, At least 5 years of clinical practice experience post-residency, Active medical licenses in at least one of the following states: CA, TX, or FL, HIPAA compliance
Nice to Have
Telehealth experience, 5 additional state licenses, Eligibility for expedited licensure through the Interstate Medical Licensure Compact (IMLC) in 5 additional states, Willingness to obtain additional state licenses as needed, Solid understanding of regulatory and documentation requirements related to physician collaboration and supervision of Advanced Practice Providers, Adaptability to evolving technology including AI-driven tools and digital platforms, Growth and learning mindset
What You'll Do.
virtual-first primary care
Conduct comprehensive virtual assessments
Develop evidence-based treatment plans
Manage and coordinate chronic conditions
Provide preventive care and wellness counseling
Order and interpret diagnostic tests and lab results
Prescribe medications
Handle referrals and prior authorizations
Manage scheduling and follow-up outreach
Accurately document tasks and communications in EMR
Maintain up-to-date clinical knowledge and processes
Participate in clinical quality and process improvement initiatives
Meet or exceed established performance standards
Serve as a collaborating physician for Nurse Practitioners
Maintain compliance with HIPAA and confidentiality standards
