Must Have
High school diploma or GED, CENA certification, MA certification, or equivalent work experience, Minimum 1 year of experience in medical field or medical office setting, grasp of medical terminology, Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Reliable transportation with valid automobile insurance
Nice to Have
Associate's degree, Experience with geriatric population and/or caregivers, Previous experience in care coordination or medical office management
What You'll Do.
Coordinate patient care and services
Follow through on all provider orders
Manage diagnostic test ordering and results
Connect patients with social services
Ensure seamless collaboration between providers
Manage patient intake and communication
Answer multi-line phones
Communicate daily with patients and families
Serve as a resource about health services
Handle medical records and documentation
Maintain accurate patient medical records
Document all activities according to compliance
Verify and record diagnostic test results
Ensure confidentiality of patient information
Provide exceptional service
Schedule appointments and manage calendars
Accept and resolve patient complaints
Support practice operations
Assist in orientation of new employees
Provide backup support for clerical positions
Identify and communicate opportunities for process improvement
Report mandated reporting situations
