Our network includes multiple hospitals, outpatient clinics, and physician practices throughout the Greater New Orleans area. **Position Summary** The Primary Care Physician provides medical care and treatment to patients across the lifespan. This role includes performing routine examinations, diagnosing and managing acute and chronic conditions, delivering preventive care services, and promoting patients’ overall health and well-being. The physician also provides consultation, medical oversight, and collaboration with clinical staff. **Key Responsibilities** **Patient Care** * Provide high-quality, evidence-based medical care in an outpatient primary care setting * Perform routine examinations and evaluations * Diagnose and treat illnesses and injuries * Administer immunizations according to medical and school guidelines * Respond to patient calls, portal messages, and clinical needs in a timely manner * Maintain accurate, complete patient and business records, including daily patient encounter documentation * Observe patients for signs and symptoms of abuse or neglect and report immediately in accordance with organizational policy * Recognize medical emergencies and respond appropriately following established policies and procedures **Patient Access** * Participate in a physician call schedule that is equitably distributed among providers * Maintain patient appointment avail
