Excellent opportunity at a NEW practice! The Department of Obstetrics & Gynecology in the Medical Group is seeking a Board Certified physician to add to their Southeast Michigan based practice location. You will be an employed physician, with knowledgeable practice management professionals assisting in day-to-day operations and take advantage the resources and referral base of the larger Corewell Health system! This position will work in a newly established practice that includes physicians and full scope midwives in Northern Oakland County, with deliveries performed at Corewell Health William Beaumont University Hospital. This Obstetrics & Gynecology practice aligned with the William Beaumont University Hospital Campus Oakland University School of Medicine. The candidate must be able to provide a broad range of both obstetrical and gynecological services. Ideal candidates will also possess excellent interpersonal skills for program building, exceptional communication skills to help expand the referral base and strengthen community ties. **Essential Functions** · Develop and cultivate positive and productive working relationships with other Corewell Health personnel, and promote a culture of safety, teamwork, compassion, collaboration, clarity, curiosity, and courage. · Demonstrate a commitment to service and distinctive, personalized care with both internal customers (coworkers, fellow employees, hospital staff, etc.) and external customers (patients, family members, referring physicians/specialists, etc.), while striving to exceed customer expectations. · Assist in meeting operational, financial, and patient satisfaction goals. · Timely completion of all specific competencies and annual organizational mandatories. · Assess and monitor the medical needs of patients. · Provide quality medical services to patients in a cost effective, appropriate manner and ensure coverage of case load at all times. · Communicate regularly with patients’ families, referring physician
