Must Have
Medical degree (M. D. or D. O. ) from an accredited institution, Board certified or board eligible in Neurology, Licensed or eligible for licensure in Washington State by employment start date, DEA registration, NPI, and prescriptive authority, Current BLS for Healthcare Providers certification from the American Heart Association
Nice to Have
Completion of neurology residency and fellowship training in behavioral neurology, neuropsychiatry, or related subspecialty preferred
What You'll Do.

and synthesize diagnostic studies such as brain MRI

Initiate and monitor pharmacologic and non-pharmacologic treatments
including cognitive enhancers
behavioral interventions
and symptomatic therapies
Coordinate care with neuropsychology
speech and occupational therapy
and primary care providers
Educate patients and families on disease progression
and strategies for daily functioning and quality of life
Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings
neurobehavioral-focused quality improvement initiatives
Maintain accurate and timely electronic medical records in compliance with regulatory standards
Contribute to teaching programs
and development of clinical protocols and care pathways

This physician provides comprehensive outpatient assessment and long-term management for individuals with conditions such as Alzheimer’s disease, frontotemporal dementia, vascular cognitive impairment, and other neurodegenerative or neuropsychiatric syndromes. The role involves collaboration with neuropsychology, psychiatry, social work, and rehabilitation services to deliver integrated, patient-centered care. The position supports the diagnosis and continuum of care for neurobehavioral disorders, utilizing advanced neuroimaging, cognitive testing, and pharmacological as well as non-pharmacological interventions.
