Bachelor's Degree or certificate, Graduate of a Physical Therapy Program accredited by the American Physical Therapy Association or a related international degree, Current state licensure as a Physical Therapist (PT), Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) or the American Red Cross, Internship experience

What You'll Do.
Evaluate and conduct medically prescribed physical therapy treatment
Interpret plans and supervise patient treatments
Review and evaluate patient's response to treatment
Make recommendations to the physician
Provide appropriate documentation of each patient visit
Be responsible for maintenance and care of equipment
Be responsible for economical use of supplies
Provide appropriate billing for each patient visit
Assist in on-the-job training of ancillary personnel

Martin North Hospital is part of the world-renowned Cleveland Clinic, a nonprofit, multispecialty, academic medical center that integrates clinical and hospital care with research and education. As a Physical Therapist, you will utilize various exercises to help patients increase strength, range of motion, endurance and coordination. Because this position requires close interaction, you have the opportunity to build strong relationships with both patients and their families. Often, your patients are dealing with pain, so sensitivity is important.
