Must Have
Bachelor's Degree Required, Physical Therapist - South Carolina Department of Labor, Licensing and Regulation Required, Basic Life Support Certified - American Heart Association within 30 Days Required
Nice to Have
Master's Degree if obtained prior to 2016 Preferred, Doctoral Degree if obtained after 2016 Required
What You'll Do.
providing a full range of therapeutic services including assessment

evaluate a patient's condition and devise a customized physical rehabilitation and treatment plan
maintain and restore maximum movement and functional ability
to maximize quality of life in an outpatient rehab setting
demonstrate accountability for the contribution to program development
and productivity enhancement in a flexible interdisciplinary fashion
handle and deliver medications based on the requirements of their job in the assigned work facility
Review physician's referral (prescription)
and submitted medical records to determine physical therapy treatment required
Plans and prepares written treatment program based on evaluation of patient and incorporate proper interventions that can help patients better perform everyday tasks
and improve strength and mobility
Evaluate patients' functional ability through various standardized tests
measures patient's strength
and level of independence with daily activities
and records findings to develop treatment programs
Develop a treatment plan for patients with specific goals and tasks
Administer treatments involving application of physical agents
ultraviolet and infrared lamps
electrical stimulation
and ultrasound machines
Evaluates effects of treatment at various stages and adjusts treatments to achieve maximum benefit
and progress in the patient’s electronic medical record and prepare reports as indicated by licensure
and or insurance recommendations
Instruct patient and family in treatment procedures to be continued at home
Complete documentation per clinical / department guidelines and meets expectations of monthly department chart audits
Promote/educate Organizations Rehabilitation programs to referring physicians
and or co-workers by performing in-services and/or marketing activities
