More than 2,500 team members at more than 70 Tidelands Health locations bring our healing mission to life each day. **A Brief Overview** Responsible for providing a full range of therapeutic services including assessment, treatment planning and therapeutic interventions in an interdisciplinary environment consistent with the position's qualification, professional practices, and ethical standards. A physical therapist (PT) must be able to evaluate a patient's condition and devise a customized physical rehabilitation and treatment plan. The PTs' goal is to develop, maintain and restore maximum movement and functional ability, to maximize quality of life in an outpatient rehab setting. The physical therapist shall also demonstrate accountability for the contribution to program development, quality improvement, problem solving, and productivity enhancement in a flexible interdisciplinary fashion. The employee may have job functions where they will handle and deliver medications based on the requirements of their job in the assigned work facility.
