What They're Looking For.
Must Have
5+ years of related experience, An active SECRET clearance, US citizenship required
Nice to Have
Bachelor's degree or 5+ years of related experience, Security, Engineering, Architecture, Business or Technical Training/Certifications is preferred, Small scale construction experience is a plus
What You'll Do.
Manage the operation and maintenance of the overseas facilities
Plan and execute building overseas and domestic projects
Manages the overall physical security
operation and maintenance of the overseas facilities
Management and oversight of alarm systems
access control systems
camera systems and onsite security guards
Assist with overseas investigations
documentation and developing incident reports
Ensure compliance with National Industrial Security Operating Manual (NISPOM)
12FAH-5 Physical Security Standards and associated government regulations and company policies and procedures
Participates in the development and implementation of security procedures in coordination with government agencies and program management
Ensures that local managers are familiar with GDIT policies and government regulations
Provide remodel designs for new facilities and upgrades to existing facilities
Work with local managers to plan the facility’s organizational structure to support growth and shifting priorities
Identifies needs for equipment leases/purchases
and contracted services
Negotiates vendor contracts and maintains effective working relationships
Work with GDIT facilities
legal and contracted real estate company to find and lease new facilities or return the property to the landlord
Ensures projects meet established specifications and budgets
including obtaining required licenses and permits
Will serve as a liaison to leasing and property management organizations
as well as planning commissions
Overseas travel for construction project oversite
surveys and project sign-off
