Phlebotomy Technicians are integral members of the Medical Laboratory Team whose primary function is the collection of blood samples from patients. Obtaining a quality laboratory specimen helps to produce quality lab results that will lead to appropriate care. Many patients, from children and teens to adults, often find needles and the idea of having their blood drawn frightening. Using your experience and skills, you can help put the patient at ease while obtaining all the required specimens.
