Full Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Phlebotomist/Processor with excellent people skills to join our team at Primary Health Chinden and Linder. This is a busy, fast-paced clinic with challenging blood draws, requiring a confident and skilled phlebotomist. Applicants must have at least one year of on-the-job phlebotomy experience. This position splits time between the clinic and laboratory, with clinic duties performed in the morning and work at the Boise laboratory location in the afternoon. Candidates must be willing and able to commute between locations as part of their daily schedule. Pay: Starting at $18/hour, commensurate with experience Schedule: Monday - Friday 7:30 am - 4:30 pm with 1-hour lunch Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision with In-Network must hear alarms to ensure timely response to safety needs. Regular handling of potentially infectious samples, with required protective gear (lab coat, gloves, goggles, face shield). Ability to sit, stand, bend, kneel, crawl, twist, and walk on uneven surfaces throughout the day. Frequent bending, extended standing, and lifting up to 30 pounds. Flexibility to work extended hours or overtime as needed. OSHA Category: This role involves exposure to blood, body fluids, and/or tissues, with Hepatitis-B vaccination offered to all performing these duties.
