High school diploma or GED, California state issued Phlebotomy license (CPT)
Nice to Have
2 year or more of experience as phlebotomist, Prior experience at LabCorp, 1 year or more phlebotomist experiences with Geriatrics and Pediatric patients, Bilingual with proficiency in Spanish and English, Proven track record in providing exceptional customer service, Ability to work in fast paced / high volume work environments, Able to pass a standardized color blindness test, Be at least 21 years of age, Valid Driver's License and clean driving record, Reliable transportation, Flexibility to work overtime as needed, Exceptional customer service, communication both written and verbal, Ability to work independently or in a team environment, Comfortable working under minimal supervision
What You'll Do.
Perform blood collections by venipuncture
Perform blood collections by capillary techniques
Collect specimens for drug screens
Collect specimens for paternity tests
Collect specimens for alcohol tests
Perform data entry of patient information
Process billing information
Collect payments when required
Prepare all collected specimens for testing
Prepare all collected specimens for analysis
Maintain patient logs
Maintain specimen information logs
Provide superior customer service to all patients
Perform administrative duties
Perform clerical duties
Travel to additional sites when needed
