Job Description Labcorp is seeking a**Phlebotomist** to join our team at Erie Helping Hands, 4747 N Kedzie Ave Chicago, IL **Work Schedule:** Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday 09:00am-6:00pm and Wednesday 10:30am-7:30pm **Job Responsibilities:** * Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups * Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc. * Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner * Process billing information and collect payments as necessary * Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis * Maintain patient and specimen information logs * Provide superior customer service to all patients * Administrative and clerical duties as necessary * Travel to additional sites when needed **Minimum Qualifications:** * High school diploma or GED or equivalent * Phlebotomy certification or completed training program or 3 months or more experience as a phlebotomist **Preferred Qualifications:** * 2 year or more of phlebotomy experience with adults and children * 1 year Pediatric experience **Additional Job Standards** : * In lieu of work experience, a Phlebotomy certification or completed training program must come from an accredited agency * Proven track record in providing exceptional customer service * Strong communication skills; both written and verbal * Ability to work independently or in a team environment * Comfortable working under minimal supervision * Reliable transportation * Flexibility to work overtime as needed * Able to pass a standardized color blindness test * This position requires you to be fully vaccinated. Subject to applicable law, all prospective hires will need to provide proof of being fully vaccinated for 2-dose Varicella vaccine series or titer, 2-dose MMR vaccine series or titer, Tdap (once in lifetime) and Td within the last 10 years,Tuberculosis screening within 12 months of date of hire, Flu Vaccination (applicable October 1st - April
