Perform blood collections by venipuncture

Collect specimens for drug screens
Collect specimens for paternity tests
Collect specimens for alcohol tests
Perform data entry of patient information
Process billing information
Prepare all collected specimens for testing
Prepare all collected specimens for analysis
Maintain patient logs
Maintain specimen logs
Provide superior customer service
Perform administrative duties
Perform clerical duties
Travel to additional sites

Join us in our mission to improve health and improve lives._ PAML a Labcorp is seeking a **Phlebotomist** to join our team in **Olympia, WA** **Work Schedule:** Monday - Friday 7:30AM - 4:30PM; additional hours and rotating Saturday's as needed **Job Responsibilities:** * Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups * Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc. * Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner * Process billing information and collect payments when required * Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis * Maintain patient and specimen information logs * Provide superior customer service to all patients * Administrative and clerical duties as necessary * Travel to additional sites when needed **Minimum Qualifications** * Valid Washington State-issued Phlebotomy License **Preferred Qualifications:** 3 or more months of phlebotomy experience 6 or more months of current or prior Labcorp experience in phlebotomy **Additional Job Standards:** * In lieu of state license requirement listed above, an application for a phlebotomy license filed with the WA Department of Health at time of hire may meet license requirement. * Able to pass a standardized color blindness test * Flexibility to work overtime as needed * Exceptional customer service * Strong communication skills; both written and verbal * Ability to work independently or in a team environment * Comfortable working under minimal supervision At PAML a Labcorp company we have a passion for helping people live happy and healthy lives.
