Perform blood collections by venipuncture
Perform blood collections by capillary techniques
Collect specimens for drug screens
Collect specimens for paternity tests
Collect specimens for alcohol tests
Perform data entry of patient information
Process billing information
Collect payments when required
Prepare all collected specimens for testing
Prepare all collected specimens for analysis
Maintain patient information logs
Maintain specimen information logs
Provide superior customer service to all patients
Perform administrative duties
Perform clerical duties

Join us in our mission to improve health and improve lives._ Labcorp is seeking a **Phlebotomist** to join our team at our client site**** in Hendersonville, NC**.** **Work Schedule: Monday - Thursday, 8am - 5pm with a 30 minute lunch, Friday 8am - 1pm.** **Job Responsibilities:** * Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups * Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc. * Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner * Process billing information and collect payments when required * Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis * Maintain patient and specimen information logs * Provide superior customer service to all patients * Administrative and clerical duties as necessary * Other Duties as assigned **Minimum Qualifications:** · High school diploma or GED or equivalent · Phlebotomy certification or completed training program or 3 months or more experience as a phlebotomist **Preferred Qualifications:** · 1 year or more of phlebotomy experience **Additional Job Standards:** · In lieu of work experience, a Phlebotomy certification or completed training program must come from an accredited agency · Able to pass a standardized color blindness test · Flexibility to work overtime as needed · Exceptional customer service · Strong communication skills; both written and verbal · Ability to work independently or in a team environment · Comfortable working under minimal supervision · Travel to additional sites when needed, reliable transportation At Labcorp we have a passion for helping people live happy and healthy lives.
