What You'll Do.
Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups
Collect specimens for drug screens
Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner
Process billing information and collect payments when required
Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis
Maintain patient and specimen information logs
Provide superior customer service to all patients
Administrative and clerical duties as necessary
Travel to additional sites when needed

Join us in our mission to improve health and improve lives._ LabCorp is seeking a **Phlebotomist** to join our team in **Gilbert****, AZ** at East Baseline Road, Gilbert, AZ 85234. **Work Schedule:** Monday - Thursday, 7:30 am - 6:30 pm; additional days/hours as needed **Job Responsibilities:** * Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups * Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc. * Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner * Process billing information and collect payments when required * Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis * Maintain patient and specimen information logs * Provide superior customer service to all patients * Administrative and clerical duties as necessary * Travel to additional sites when needed **Minimum Qualifications:** * High school diploma or equivalent **Preferred Qualifications:** * Phlebotomy certification or completed training program or 1 year or more experience as a phlebotomist **Additional Job Standards:** * In lieu of work experience, a Phlebotomy certification or completed training program must come from an accredited agency * Able to pass a standardized color blindness test * Strong communication skills; both written and verbal * Proven track record in providing exceptional customer service * Ability to work independently or in a team environment * Comfortable working under minimal supervision * Flexibility to work overtime as needed At Labcorp, we have a passion in helping people live happy and healthy lives.
